Born and raised in Philadelphia, Cynthia graduated from Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School. She attended Widener University with a Presidential Scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration. Cynthia then attended Widener University School of Law with a Merit Scholarship. While in law school, she received Pro Bono distinction for her work with low income families.
Cynthia has been practicing law since her admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2012. Today she concentrates her practice on advocating for victims of accidents in personal injury matters. In both 2021 and 2022 she has been named as a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers, which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state.
Prior to joining Golkow Hessel, Cynthia worked as a Senior Trial Attorney for a personal injury defense firm and served the City of Philadelphia as an Assistant City Solicitor. She also worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Paul P. Panepinto in the Philadelphia County, Court of Common Pleas.
Cynthia brings a unique perspective to representing her clients given her extensive litigation experience and her careful attention to detail that enabled her to achieve numerous successful jury verdicts. Notably, as a result of her successful and creative approach to personal injury claims, Cynthia has been a speaker at multiple seminars educating other attorneys about the use of social media in litigation.
Cynthia lives in South Philadelphia. She enjoys traveling and exploring the city’s restaurant scene. She is fluent in the Greek language and volunteers at the local Greek community.
